In this case, Razorpay Checkout will display all applicable offers from which a customer can select a single offer to complete payment. \n[**API Reference for Customer Controlled Offers**](https://docs.razorpay.com/v1/page/offers#customer-controlled-offers)\n\n\n**2. What is No-Cost EMI?**\nNo Cost EMI is an offer by which you pay your EMI provider only the product price, equally divided over your repayment timeline. For example, if you buy a Rs.18,000 item at a 6 month tenure, you will pay your EMI provider Rs.3,000 every month for 6 months, amounting to a total of Rs.18,000.\n\n**2. Which payment methods can be used for No-Cost EMI?**\nNo cost EMI is available on credit cards from all major banks - Kotak, HDFC, Axis, Indusind, RBL, ICICI, Standard Chartered, YesBank, and American Express.\n\n**3. Will the customer's bank continue to charge them interest?**\nYes, the customer's bank will continue to charge them interest. However, this interest charge has been provided to the customer as an upfront discount at the time of purchase, effectively giving them the benefit of a No-Cost EMI.\n\n**4. Who manages offer usage limitations?**\nMerchant is expected to manage offer usage limitations. This can be achieved by passing the appropriate offer_ids at the time of creating an order. \n\n**5. What kind of report is available for this feature?**\nThe report will be the same as the payment report with the following additional fields: `offer_id, offer_name, order_amount, discount_amount, and emi_duration.`\n\n**6. How to manage offers without a discount?**\nWhen the discount flag in the order creation request is set to 0, then the order amount will not be discounted by Razorpay, but the offer validations will still be applied.\nThis can be used when the discounting of the order amount is already done by Merchant, and Merchant only wants to use the Razorpay Offers platform to restrict the payment method to a specific one. This is similar to Merchant Controlled Offer.\n\n**7. How to apply a discount and no-cost EMI in a single offer?**\nCurrently, a single offer can either provide a discount or no-cost EMI benefit but not both. We are working on enabling this feature soon.\n\n**8. Can you share a table that highlights the calculations for No-Cost EMI?**\nThe table below highlights the calculations on the cost incurred by the merchant at all standard plan and tenures. \n[block:parameters]\n{\n \"data\": {\n \"h-0\": \"Amount (in INR)\",\n \"h-1\": \"Interest (in %)\",\n \"h-2\": \"Tenure (in Months)\",\n \"h-3\": \"Amount Paid by Customer\",\n Offers

Razorpay Offers allows you to associate new orders with previously-created offers, and thus discount the order amount in accordance with certain rules. [block:callout] { "type": "info", "body": "To create an offer for your account, please reach out to `support@razorpay.com` with the desired offer details.", "title": "Offer Creation" } [/block] [block:api-header] { "title": "Customer Controlled vs. Merchant Controlled" } [/block] Offers can be used in 2 ways: **1. Customer Controlled** As a merchant, you would like the customer to choose which offer is to be applied during the payment process using Razorpay Checkout. In this case, Razorpay Checkout will display all applicable offers from which a customer can select a single offer to complete payment. [**API Reference for Customer Controlled Offers**](https://docs.razorpay.com/v1/page/offers#customer-controlled-offers) **2. Merchant Controlled** As a merchant, you simply need to enforce the user to complete payment via a specific payment method. In this case, Razorpay Checkout will permit only those payment methods that are permitted by the applied offer. For example, if the offer associated with an order is only applicable on card payments, then checkout will only display one available payment method: **cards.** [**API Reference for Merchant Controlled Offer**](https://docs.razorpay.com/v1/page/offers#merchant-controlled-offer) [block:callout] { "type": "info", "title": "Customer Controlled Offers", "body": "Refer to the section below for managing Customer Controlled Offers" } [/block] [block:api-header] { "title": "Customer Controlled Offers" } [/block] [block:api-header] { "title": "Step 1: Order Creation" } [/block] To add an offer on an order, you can send the following extra attribute in the order creation request (described in more detail [**here**](https://razorpay.com/docs/orders/creating/#creating-an-order)). Checkout will display the offers associated with the order, and allow the customer to select the specific offer to be applied on a payment. The payment initiated in this fashion will be created with the discounted amount, i.e. after application of the offer. For example, if a 20% discount offer was applied on an order of amount 1000, then passing this order ID to checkout will result in a payment of amount 800. [block:api-header] { "title": "Step 3: Capturing Payments" } [/block] Regular rules for capturing Order payment apply here as well, namely that a payment can be [**auto-captured**](https://razorpay.com/docs/orders/related/#auto-capturing) or captured manually. If the payment is to be captured manually, the original order amount will need to be sent, i.e. in the above example, to capture the payment, a [**capture request**](https://razorpay.com/docs/api/payment/#capture-a-payment) with amount set to 1000 would need to be sent. Checkout will permit only those payment methods that are permitted by the applied offer, i.e. if the offer associated with an order is only applicable on card payments, then checkout will only display one available payment method: cards. Creation of an order in this fashion will result in an `order_id` which can then be used in the payment request. [block:api-header] { "title": "Frequently Asked Questions" } [/block] **1. What is No-Cost EMI?** No Cost EMI is an offer by which you pay your EMI provider only the product price, equally divided over your repayment timeline. For example, if you buy a Rs.18,000 item at a 6 month tenure, you will pay your EMI provider Rs.3,000 every month for 6 months, amounting to a total of Rs.18,000. **2. Which payment methods can be used for No-Cost EMI?** No cost EMI is available on credit cards from all major banks - Kotak, HDFC, Axis, Indusind, RBL, ICICI, Standard Chartered, YesBank, and American Express. **3. Will the customer's bank continue to charge them interest?** Yes, the customer's bank will continue to charge them interest. However, this interest charge has been provided to the customer as an upfront discount at the time of purchase, effectively giving them the benefit of a No-Cost EMI. **4. Who manages offer usage limitations?** Merchant is expected to manage offer usage limitations. This can be achieved by passing the appropriate offer_ids at the time of creating an order. **5. What kind of report is available for this feature?** The report will be the same as the payment report with the following additional fields: `offer_id, offer_name, order_amount, discount_amount, and emi_duration.` **6. How to manage offers without a discount?** When the discount flag in the order creation request is set to 0, then the order amount will not be discounted by Razorpay, but the offer validations will still be applied. This can be used when the discounting of the order amount is already done by Merchant, and Merchant only wants to use the Razorpay Offers platform to restrict the payment method to a specific one. This is similar to Merchant Controlled Offer. **7. How to apply a discount and no-cost EMI in a single offer?** Currently, a single offer can either provide a discount or no-cost EMI benefit but not both. We are working on enabling this feature soon. **8. Can you share a table that highlights the calculations for No-Cost EMI?** The table below highlights the calculations on the cost incurred by the merchant at all standard plan and tenures. [block:parameters] { "data": { "h-0": "Amount (in INR)", "h-1": "Interest (in %)", "h-2": "Tenure (in Months)", "h-3": "Amount Paid by Customer", "h-4": "Monthly EMI", "h-5": "No-Cost EMI Discount", "h-6": "Discount", "h-7": "Pricing", "h-8": "Total Cost (in %)", "0-0": "10000", "0-1": "11%", "0-2": "3", "1-0": "10000", "2-0": "10000", "3-0": "10000", "4-0": "10000", "1-1": "12%", "2-1": "13%", "3-1": "14%", "4-1": "15%", "1-2": "3", "2-2": "3", "3-2": "3", "4-2": "3", "0-3": "9,819.43", "1-3": "9,803.28", "2-3": "9,787.18", "3-3": "9,771.13", "4-3": "9,755.11", "0-4": "3333.33", "1-4": "3333.33", "2-4": "3333.33", "3-4": "3333.33", "4-4": "3333.33", "0-5": "180.57", "1-5": "196.72", "2-5": "212.82", "3-5": "228.87", "4-5": "244.89", "0-6": "1.81%", "1-6": "1.97%", "2-6": "2.13%", "3-6": "2.29%", "4-6": "2.45%", "0-7": "3%", "1-7": "3%", "2-7": "3%", "3-7": "3%", "4-7": "3%", "0-8": "4.81%", "1-8": "4.97%", "2-8": "5.13%", "3-8": "5.29%", "4-8": "5.45%", "5-0": "10000", "6-0": "10000", "7-0": "10000", "8-0": "10000", "9-0": "10000", "5-1": "11%", "6-1": "12%", "7-1": "13%", "8-1": "14%", "9-1": "15%", "5-2": "6", "6-2": "6", "7-2": "6", "8-2": "6", "9-2": "6", "5-3": "9686.85", "6-3": "9659.13", "7-3": "9631.53", "8-3": "9604.04", "9-3": "9576.68", "5-4": "1666.67", "6-4": "1666.67", "7-4": "1666.67", "8-4": "1666.67", "9-4": "1666.67", "5-5": "313.15", "6-5": "340.87", "7-5": "368.47", "8-5": "395.96", "9-5": "423.32", "5-6": "3.13%", "6-6": "3.41%", "7-6": "3.68%", "8-6": "3.96%", "9-6": "4.23%", "5-7": "3%", "6-7": "3%", "7-7": "3%", "8-7": "3%", "9-7": "3%", "5-8": "6.13%", "6-8": "6.41%", "7-8": "6.68%", "8-8": "6.96%", "9-8": "7.23%", "10-0": "10000", "11-0": "10000", "12-0": "10000", "13-0": "10000", "14-0": "10000", "10-1": "11%", "11-1": "12%", "12-1": "13%", "13-1": "14%", "14-1": "15%", "10-2": "9", "11-2": "9", "12-2": "9", "13-2": "9", "14-2": "9", "10-3": "9556.66", "11-3": "9517.80", "12-3": "9479.17", "13-3": "9440.77", "14-3": "9402.61", "10-4": "1111.11", "11-4": "1111.11", "12-4": "1111.11", "13-4": "1111.11", "14-4": "1111.11", "10-5": "443.34", "11-5": "482.20", "12-5": "520.83", "13-5": "559.23", "14-5": "597.39", "10-6": "4.43%", "11-6": "4.82%", "12-6": "5.21%", "13-6": "5.59%", "14-6": "5.97%", "10-7": "3%", "11-7": "3%", "12-7": "3%", "13-7": "3%", "14-7": "3%", "10-8": "7.43%", "11-8": "7.82%", "12-8": "8.21%", "13-8": "8.59%", "14-8": "8.97%", "15-0": "10000", "16-0": "10000", "17-0": "10000", "18-0": "10000", "19-0": "10000", "15-1": "11%", "16-1": "12%", "17-1": "13%", "18-1": "14%", "19-1": "15%", "15-2": "12", "16-2": "12", "17-2": "12", "18-2": "12", "19-2": "12", "15-3": "9428.80", "16-3": "9379.23", "17-3": "9330.04", "18-3": "9281.21", "19-3": "9232.76", "15-4": "833.33", "16-4": "833.33", "17-4": "833.33", "18-4": "833.33", "19-4": "833.33", "15-5": "571.20", "16-5": "620.77", "17-5": "669.96", "18-5": "718.79", "19-5": "767.24", "15-6": "5.71%", "16-6": "6.21%", "17-6": "6.70%", "18-6": "7.19%", "19-6": "7.67%", "15-7": "3%", "16-7": "3%", "17-7": "3%", "18-7": "3%", "19-7": "3%", "15-8": "8.71%", "16-8": "9.21%", "17-8": "9.70%", "18-8": "10.19%", "19-8": "10.67%", "20-0": "10000", "21-0": "10000", "22-0": "10000", "23-0": "10000", "24-0": "10000", "20-1": "11%", "21-1": "12%", "22-1": "13%", "23-1": "14%", "24-1": "15%", "20-2": "18", "21-2": "18", "22-2": "18", "23-2": "18", "24-2": "18", "20-3": "9179.92", "21-3": "9110.15", "22-3": "9041.13", "23-3": "8972.85", "24-3": "8905.30", "20-4": "555.56", "21-4": "555.56", "22-4": "555.56", "23-4": "555.56", "24-4": "555.56", "20-5": "820.08", "21-5": "889.85", "22-5": "958.87", "23-5": "1027.15", "24-5": "1094.70", "20-6": "8.20%", "21-6": "8.90%", "22-6": "9.59%", "23-6": "10.27%", "24-6": "10.95%", "20-7": "3%", "21-7": "3%", "22-7": "3%", "23-7": "3%", "24-7": "3%", "20-8": "11.20%", "21-8": "11.90%", "22-8": "12.59%", "23-8": "13.27%", "24-8": "13.95%", "25-0": "10000", "26-0": "10000", "27-0": "10000", "28-0": "10000", "29-0": "10000", "25-1": "11%", "26-1": "12%", "27-1": "13%", "28-1": "14%", "29-1": "15%", "25-2": "24", "26-2": "24", "27-2": "24", "28-2": "24", "29-2": "24", "25-3": "8939.84", "26-3": "8851.41", "27-3": "8764.21", "28-3": "8678.23", "29-3": "8593.43", "25-4": "416.67", "26-4": "416.67", "27-4": "416.67", "28-4": "416.67", "29-4": "416.67", "25-5": "1060.16", "26-5": "1148.59", "27-5": "1235.79", "28-5": "1321.77", "29-5": "1406.57", "25-6": "10.60%", "26-6": "11.49%", "27-6": "12.36%", "28-6": "13.22%", "29-6": "14.07%", "25-7": "3%", "26-7": "3%", "27-7": "3%", "28-7": "3%", "29-7": "3%", "25-8": "13.60%", "26-8": "14.49%", "27-8": "15.36%", "28-8": "16.22%", "29-8": "17.07%" }, "cols": 9, "rows": 30 } [/block] **8.
